After final payment, you own the website files created for your order. You retain your existing rights to your domain and supplied content. Third-party software, fonts, photos, and other assets remain subject to their own licenses. Website Care is optional, and a standard handoff is included if you prefer to manage it elsewhere.
Your domain stays registered in your name. We can connect one you own or help you purchase one, with any registration or renewal cost shown separately before you approve it.
We will never ask you to email passwords. Any account access needed for launch will use a safer, supervised process.

Is Craftlane a cybersecurity company?
No. Craftlane designs websites and offers routine website maintenance. We do not provide security audits, penetration testing, threat monitoring, malware removal, or emergency incident response. Website Care does not guarantee protection from hacking, data loss, or downtime. If you need those services, use a qualified cybersecurity provider.
Will a new website guarantee more customers?
No. We provide the website work in your agreed scope. We do not guarantee inquiries, sales, revenue, or search-engine rankings.
Is the homepage demo really free?
Yes. You receive a private homepage direction to review at no charge and with no purchase obligation. It is a visual demo—not a completed or published website—and its contact features stay disconnected.
What kinds of businesses do you work with?
Craftlane builds around the real services, customers, and personality of each independent business. We are not limited to one trade or a set of industry templates. If the focused one-page format is not a good fit, we will tell you before you pay.
When do I pay?
The homepage demo is free. If you choose to continue, the Website Refresh is one $399 payment through Shopify checkout. Your Craftlane order summary appears before you continue, and you never send us card details by email.
How long does a Website Refresh take?
Our estimate is about seven days after payment and complete content. Your written order confirms the delivery schedule, how customer delays or changes are handled, and refund terms before payment. Any deadline or refund promise already agreed for an existing order remains in force.
Why is Website Care $59 per month if hosting is inexpensive?
Website Care covers the routine website tasks listed in your agreement, such as hosting setup, small requested updates, email support, and agreed backup or availability checks after activation. It does not include security audits, attack detection, malware removal, or incident response.
What do you need from me?
For the free demo, we send five quick questions about your main services, customer’s next step, service area, desired feel, and existing colors or logo. Short email answers are fine. We request detailed content and logo/photo uploads only if you decide to proceed.
